What the refill includes
A Refill - Lash Artist appointment is a 90 MINUTES maintenance visit for existing SALT lash clients. The session includes a lash cleanse if needed, professional removal of grown-out extensions, and a customized refill using classic, hybrid, wet-set, or volume techniques as required. The artist evaluates remaining lashes and rebuilds the set to match your previous style and current retention.
To qualify for a refill appointment you must book the service within 21 days of your prior lash appointment and have at least 40% of your extensions remaining. If the artist finds fewer retained lashes or the 21-day window has passed, a full set may be recommended instead. The in-chair assessment determines whether a refill will deliver the look you want.
How the lash artist decides
During the appointment the lash artist assesses natural lash health, retention percentage, and how much of your previous set remains. These factors guide the technique choice—whether classic, hybrid, wet-set, or volume—to match the original look or adjust the style. The artist explains trade-offs so you can choose density and curl appropriate for your natural lashes without compromising the structure of the refill.
A refill focuses on replacing shed lashes and evening out gaps rather than rebuilding from zero. That means the number of attachments and placement varies with retention and desired density. If you prefer a noticeably denser look, the artist will outline whether a refill can achieve it or if transitioning to a full set is the better option for long-term results.
